Florentine Style Italian Carved Frame in Gold with Leafs and Shells, 1885

Late 19th century Italian carved and gilded frame in the 17th century Florentine style.
This frame is carved wood with a floral motif at the sight edge with center straps. The outer portion consists of large curling leaves that are mirrored imaged from the centers outward.
Original gold metal leaf surface and patina.
Considering that is 140 years old is good condition just some cracks here and there as showing the photos.
