“Maralunga” Sofa by Vico Magistretti for Cassina

Designed in 1973, the Maralunga collection by Vico Magistretti for Cassina features a backrest of unique comfort and adjustability. The wire structure - the result of a happy accident during the prototyping process - embedded in the folding leather cushions allows them to be positioned according to the sitter’s comfort, with each of the three seats’ headrests independently possible.
