Lesbo table lamp by Angelo Mangiarotti for Artemide 1960s. Designed by Mangiarotti in 1967, the Lesbo table lamp is now an internationally celebrated design. Its iconic curves inspired by nature create an expressive statement piece. Executed in a frosted blown glass atop a polished aluminum base, the Lesbo organic shape adds a stunning sculptural element to any space.

Angelo Mangiarotti was a very important italian architect and designer, born in 1921 in Milan. He studied architecture at the Politecnico of Milan and gratuated in 1948. He then went to the US for a short period of time where he had the chance to meet Frank Lloyd Wright, Walter Gropius and Mies Van Der Rohe, who were crucial to his own growth and style development.
