The Arco desk was designed in the 1960s by Studio BBPR (Banfi, Belgiojoso, Peressutti and Rogers) for Olivetti, Italy’s most design-led manufacturer. BBPR were pioneers of Italian Rationalism, bringing architectural precision and modernist thinking into workplace furniture.

Functional modernist design
This mid-century desk features angled black metal legs with adjustable hexagonal feet, supporting a molded veneer plywood top with a rich grain. An integrated metal storage unit with drawers completes the piece, combining practicality with sculptural form. The proportions and detailing highlight BBPR’s Rationalist design principles.
