Sculptural Dutch Design

A striking 1970s dining table attributed to Axel Enthoven, featuring two substantial sculptural pedestal bases and a clear glass top. Associated with Dutch manufacturer Rohé Noordwolde, the design is defined by its bold architectural form, rhythmic lines and beautifully balanced proportions.

Architectural Ribbed Bases

The table rests on two sculptural black columns, each formed by a sequence of rounded horizontal ribs. The repeated lines create a strong sense of movement and depth, while the gloss black finish accentuates the curved profile and gives the bases a striking presence from every angle.

The substantial architectural form of the columns contrasts beautifully with the transparency of the glass top, allowing the sculptural structure beneath to remain the central feature of the design.

Customisable Glass Top

The table is shown with a large round clear glass top as an example of one possible configuration. Alternative glass tops in different shapes and sizes can be supplied, allowing the table to be tailored to suit the proportions of a particular dining space or interior project.
