About DeRosa

De Rosa’s story begins in Milan in 1953, when Ugo De Rosa opened his first workshop with a simple but ambitious goal: to build racing bicycles with the precision and feel that serious riders demand. A gifted mechanic and former amateur racer, he quickly earned a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, and by the late 1950s his frames were attracting the attention of professional cyclists.

As the brand grew, De Rosa became closely linked with some of the greatest names in cycling, including Raphaël Géminiani, Eddy Merckx, and Francesco Moser, helping cement its place in Italian racing history.

Today, De Rosa remains a family-owned marque, still admired for its blend of tradition, performance, and unmistakably Italian artistry.
