Dining Table by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti Italia 1970s

This awesome table with concrete legs and wooden top was designed by Giovanni Offredi per Saporiti in the 70s. By balancing perfectly the sculptural feeling of the concrete with the warm tones of the wood, this table matches perfectly with decorative elements of strong impact.
 The stability of the construction is ensured by means of a wooden beam placed between the concrete coloums. The oval polished timber top provides a clear view of the captivating base beneath it. Giovanni Offredi clearly created a postmodern design that breathes the characteristics of Italian design of the seventies.
