Futuristic form and ergonomic design

Crafted from fiberglass-reinforced polyester (GRP), the Gaudì chair was among the first seating designs to fully exploit new industrial materials. The chair’s organic lines echo the architectural language of Antoni Gaudí, while its low-slung seat, integrated armrests, and enveloping backrest provide ergonomic comfort. The glossy black finish enhances its sculptural character, giving it a bold presence in any interior.

Vico Magistretti’s Space Age vision

Vico Magistretti (1920–2006) was one of the most influential Italian designers of the 20th century, celebrated for his ability to combine functionality with elegance. The Gaudì chair, produced by Artemide, embodies his vision of democratic design, merging innovation with timeless form. Today, it is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, underscoring its enduring status as a collectible design classic.
