Mid-century Italian Ceramic Table Lamp in Blue Gradient by Società Porcellane Artistiche

Mid-century Italian ceramic lighting

This mid-century Italian table lamp showcases the artistry of ceramic design in the 1970s. Its spherical form is finished in a blue gradient glaze, shifting from ivory at the top to deep aqua at the base, giving the piece a luminous and refined character.

Sculptural ceramic lighting with Venetian influence

The lamp’s rounded ceramic base and glossy finish echo the traditions of Venetian decorative arts, while its bold gradient tones align with the playful spirit of Italian mid-century modern lighting. A deep navy velvet shade completes the design, balancing colour and texture.

Mid-century Italian design context

Produced by Società Porcellane Artistiche, a renowned Italian ceramics workshop, this lamp reflects the mid-century pursuit of sculptural form combined with everyday function. The rich glaze and harmonious silhouette make it a timeless piece of Italian mid-century craftsmanship.
