Rich Burl Wood and Geometric Inlay

The expansive rectangular top showcases the dramatic natural figuring of the burl wood, carefully arranged to create a highly decorative and almost symmetrical composition. Three fine bands of contrasting maple inlay frame the tabletop, introducing a precise architectural element against the warmth and movement of the timber.

The substantial veneered top appears to float above a recessed rectangular pedestal base, giving the piece a strong sculptural presence while maintaining the low proportions characteristic of 1970s Italian furniture.
